February 8, 2023, OTTAWA—Fieldless, the modern food company working to improve food quality, sovereignty and sustainability, starting with Canada’s leafy greens, today announced the appointment of Jan Hall to its board of directors.
Jan is an executive leader with deep and broad-ranging experience in the food, beverage, dietary supplements, consumer healthcare, and skincare industries across a broad range of categories, channels and geographies, including domestic and international markets. Her most recent role was CEO of M2 Ingredients Inc., a vertically integrated, FDA registered business that grows and processes organic functional mushrooms into powders for specialty ingredients and Om’s branded mushroom superfood products.
“Not only does Jan possess extensive hands-on experience in food and CPG retail, but she deeply understands and believes in what we are working to achieve at Fieldless,“ said Fieldless CEO, Jon Lomow. “She is also a really great fit with our culture and we are excited and honoured for her to join our board.”
Jan has served in executive leadership positions for both large and small companies, including North American President of the Neutrogena Corporation at Johnson & Johnson. She also worked as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Marketing for the North American division of The Coca-Cola Company and has held senior roles at POM Wonderful, Mario Camacho Foods, and Designer Protein, LLC.
